Critique on Racism

In the article, "White Racism, Black Crime," by Heinz H. Spiess, mainly focuses on a white man who lived in San Francisco Bay Area between 1967 to 1981. It was a segregated area and was mostly an area of African Americans. There was a black man who was running for mayor in Oakland and he attracted an audience. The audience was full of African Americans and also the white man. A lot of whites did not care what he had to say and were not going to vote for him matter what he had to say. I think this article shows how people can be and I do not agree with the white people not attending his speech. He was just running for mayor and wanted to attract everyone.

I agree with you. It doesnt matter what color a person is. It bothers me that people allow something so not important to get in the way of their lives and that they hurt others because of their actions.

This kind of makes me think of the democratic primary's. Some people wouldn't even listen to what Obama had to say just because of his appearance.

Yeah, people can be inconsiderate at times. You can't change them though. If everyone learned how accept one another and not focus on race then the world would probably not be as chaotic.
