Racism: Article 1

African Americans were not the only race that Americans have had to deal racism with. The Japanese also were racist with Americans. Japanese comedians would dress up like foreigners and competed against eachother in their dramatic and clumsy attemps to use chopsticks to pick up food. One American that was there said they were really offended of the comedy and they said that was there favorite show but some of the audience did not think it was in anyway considered racism. Some Americans said they were not offended and it was really minor but it is still considered racist to Americans.

That is a differnt spin on things. I guess different people have different levels of what they consider offensive.

I wouldn't so much as be offended, but i wouldn't really like it. I mean - the Japanese wouldn't like it if we made fun of them either so idk, i think we've already dealt with enough racism in this country and people should just stay away from it

I agree. Eveyone in some point in their life will most likely have some sort of racial slurr spoken to them.

That is kind of offensive, but not too bad.

Maybe they were just being prejudice towards Americans. I think this because those people probably just had a negative attitude toward us. Yes, this causes many the targeted audience to be offended sometimes but it's minor.
